Pike Christian Academy accepts Homeschoolers on a per course basis. High school students would have to attend PCA full-time in order to receive actual high school credits toward a diploma from PCA.
The teachers at Pike Christian Academy are all state-certified teachers with degrees in education. They have all received background checks and been approved by the state to teach in our school, which is state-chartered. State chartered means we meet all the same requirements that the public schools meet for curriculum, building safety, etc.
Students who enroll on a per-class basis will be expected to arrive on time for class and follow the same behavior rules as full-time students. They will have the same consequences for tardies and unexcused absences. They will need to pay for their books in advance, and they will get to take the books home and keep them at the end of the year. Families can enroll their children one semester at a time if they want to just try it and see how it goes.
